Privacy Policy — Battleship
Effective date: July 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Millify (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Battleship mobile game.
Battleship has no game server. Your nickname, settings, match history and statistics are stored only on your own device and are never uploaded to us. Multiplayer works over your local Wi-Fi network, directly between the two devices. We do not operate accounts, matchmaking or leaderboards on our servers.
Information We Collect
- Stored on your device only: your nickname, game settings, match history and in-game statistics. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
- Google sign-in (optional): if you choose to sign in, your Google account e-mail is stored on your device only. It is not sent to any server of ours.
- Diagnostics: anonymous crash reports and performance data, collected by Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics for Firebase.
- Advertising identifier: processed by Google AdMob to serve ads (see “Advertising and Purchases” below).
How We Use Information
- To run the game on your device and remember your settings and progress.
- To display advertising, and to remove it if you purchase the ad-free option.
- To maintain, improve and debug the game through anonymous crash and performance reports.
Advertising and Purchases
Battleship is free and supported by advertising through Google AdMob, which displays banner and full-screen ads and may process your device's advertising identifier to do so. Where required, we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change that choice at any time from the game's settings. The game also offers optional in-app purchases through Google Play Billing, including an ad-free upgrade and cosmetic ship skins. Purchases are processed by Google Play — we never receive or store your payment details. Purchases are tied to your Google Play account and can be restored on a new device; refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policies.
Data Deletion
Because your data is stored only on your device, you can erase all of it by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the game. See the Account & Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions.
Third-Party Services
The game uses Google Play Services, Google AdMob (advertising), Google Play Billing (purchases), and Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics (crash and performance reporting). These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Data Retention
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above. Anonymous diagnostics are retained for a limited period and then deleted or aggregated.
Children's Privacy
Battleship is designed to be family friendly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at {email}.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
